060 469 7378We offer a wide range of first opinion services from pre-purchase evaluations to routine healthcare check-ups. For complex cases, our veterinarians can refer a patient to our equine hospital for quick access to more advanced specialised care and high-quality equipment in our purpose-built facilities. We always strive to provide the highest quality primary care to maintain your horse’s health and comfort while managing performance expectations.
Our equine road veterinarians cover a 100km area around our Paarl-based hospital, offering comprehensive care including vaccinations, health exams, de-worming, and dentistry. We handle emergencies and can take radiographs in the field. If you can't bring your horse to the hospital, our ambulatory service provides extensive on-site support.
Equine joint injections are a highly effective treatment used to manage joint pain, inflammation, and arthritis in horses. These injections deliver medications directly into the joint, providing targeted relief and improving joint health and mobility.
We offer a wide range of diagnostic tools including digital radiography, ultrasonography, ophthalmoscopy, cardiography, gastroscopy and endoscopy, which equips our veterinarians to be able to efficiently make diagnoses, provide accurate medical advice and share tailored treatment options.

A lameness evaluation includes a consultation with one of our veterinarians and a full gait analysis. If necessary, our team may make use of our lameness locator device, medical imaging and nerve blocks for more accurate detection of the source of your horse’s lameness. We collaborate with farriers for hoof trimming and corrective shoeing when treating conditions like navicular disease, laminitis and whiteline disease.
We provide essential vaccinations to keep your horse healthy, including flu, African Horse Sickness (AHS), tetanus, rabies, herpes, West Nile Virus, and Lawsonia. Each vaccination is crucial for preventing diseases and maintaining your horse's well-being. Regular vaccinations help prevent outbreaks of contagious diseases, safeguard the health of individual horses, and contribute to overall herd immunity.
