Our equine team prioritises our patients’ health and safety with our controlled and secure Equine Vector Protected Facility. This specialised facility is designed in such a way that we can accept patients from both the AHS protection zone and the infected zone without putting other horses in the surveillance zone at risk. Access into the facility is very limited and highly controlled and all of our team members with access to the barn have received full training.
We have 2 stables fully equipped for patients needing more intensive care and an additional 4 stables for horses that require general care. The facility is equipped with everything needed to assess and evaluate patients safely.
